Thai consulate donates books to Anna Centenary Library

Books on Royal Thailand, its people, unique culture and cuisine were presented to the Director of Public Libraries by the Royal Thai Consul General in Chennai, Chanchai Charanvatnakit, at the Consulate, on Monday.

After the inauguration of the Anna Centenary Library at Kotturpuram, consulates in the city have evinced interest in visiting the library and donating books to it.

Accordingly, invitation was extended to the authorities of Anna Centenary Library and Consul General, Royal Thai Consulate, in Chennai Mr. Chanchai Charanvatnakit donated a set of unique books portraying the cultural history, political hierarchy, places of interest, economical significance to G. Arivoli, Director of Public Libraries, Tamil Nadu.
