The TNEB is taking all measures on a war-footing to serve the public by maintaining uninterrupted power supply in Chennai and its suburbs, according to a release.

Fifty seven FOC call centres and one centralised call centre number with 15 lines and Chairman Complaint Cell/Redressal Centre are being effectively put into action round the clock to attend to the city consumers' grievances. Power interruption in Velachery, Madipakkam and Sembium recently occurred owing to HT cable fault. Alternative feeding arrangements were made, faults were attended to and the supply was restored. In MKB Nagar, a power transformer was replaced, the release said.
