Stalin extends support to law college students

The DMK treasurer urges the Tamil Nadu government to hold talks with the students and find an amicable solution to the present crisis.

DMK treasurer M.K. Stalin on Friday called on students of the Dr. Ambedkar Law College in Chennai, who are at a sit-in protest on the college campus against the proposal to shift the college to Sriperumbudur.

"We stood by the students of the Queen Mary's College when the State Government decided to demolish the college to construct a new Secretariat. We will also support your cause," Mr. Stalin said while addressing the students.

He also called upon the Tamil Nadu Government to hold talks with the students and find an amicable solution to the present crisis.

TNCC president E.V.K.S. Elangovan also met the students and expressed solidarity with them.
