Southern Railway will run the following special trains to clear the rush.
Chennai Central-Mysore Specials: Train No. 0687 will leave Mysore at 7.20 p.m. on Wednesdays from July 7 to December 29 and arrive at Chennai Central at 5.15 a.m. the next day.
In the return direction, train No. 0688 will leave Central at 8.40 p.m. on all Thursdays from July 8 to December 30 and reach Mysore at 7.10 a.m. the next day.
Bangalore-Nagercoil Weekly Specials (Via Madurai, Dindigul and Erode): Train No. 0691 will leave Bangalore at 11 p.m. on all Thursdays from July 1 to August 26 and reach Nagercoil at 2 p.m. the next day.
In the return direction, train No. 0692 will leave Nagercoil at 12.45 p.m. on all Saturdays from July 3 to August 28 and reach Bangalore at 4.30 a.m. the next day.
Mysore-Rameswaram weekly specials: Train No. 0689 will leave Mysore at 7.20 p.m. on all Mondays from July 5 to December 27 and reach Rameswaram at 1.30 p.m. the next day. In the return direction, train No. 0690 will leave Rameswaram at 7 p.m. on all Tuesdays from July 6 to December 28 and reach Mysore at 12 noon the next day.
Reservation for the trains is available, according to a Southern Railway release.
