Jharkhand reassuredon students' security

The Tamil Nadu government has reassured Jharkhand on security for students hailing from the State, the Jharkhand Assembly was informed on Wednesday.

Replying to a question from the Opposition after the February 28 violence, which claimed the lives of two students from Jharkhand, HRD Minister Hemlal Murmu said the Tamil Nadu government had reassured the State on security to students from the State.

“The situation there is under control now,” he said. Jharkhand officials were speaking to their counterparts in Tamil Nadu on the issue.
