Invites for scholars a month ahead of Tamil conference

The World Classical Tamil Conference's committee for international scholars on Saturday decided that invitations for scholars living abroad should be sent a month ahead of the inauguration of the event. The draft of the invitation has been cleared by Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi. This was stated at a meeting of the committee here at Palar Illam, which houses the Central Institute of Classical Tamil. Vairamuthu, chairman of the committee; M. Rajendran, Tamil University Vice-Chancellor; Kanimozhi, Member of Parliament; Durai Murugan, Law Minister; and K. Vaidiyanathan, Editor of Dinamani, were among those who participated in the meeting.
