It is with this belief that CADD Centre, iSolve and iKix launched ‘Shaping a new generation', a lecture series for the benefit of youth, here on Tuesday.
The series, proposed to be held in seven cities, will feature celebrities sharing their success stories with the audience.
Delivering the keynote address at the launch, Commissioner of Police T. Rajendran spoke on his journey from being a young IPS officer to becoming the Commissioner. Sharing some of the key challenges faced by his department, he urged the public to cooperate with the police.
He also spoke of the risks that came with using the internet, cellular phone and watching television. The “new found prosperity” that professionals in some sectors such as IT brought newer challenges and avenues of crime to the fore, he added.
A DVD ‘Cricket Life Success', featuring former Indian captain K. Srikkanth was launched on the occasion. The DVD details what the cricketer deems the 15 essential aspects of success, including self-belief, passion, positive approach and team work.
Mr. Srikkanth, R. Parthasarathy, chairman and managing director, CADD Centre India, and P. Chitra of CADD Centre were among those present.
