The Chennai Collectorate has invited applications from students of Adi Dravidar and Scheduled Tribes Welfare colleges, schools and polytechnics for hostel accommodation in Chennai district during 2010-11. Students in class IV to Plus-Two are eligible for free boarding and lodging at the hostels run by the Adi Dravidar Welfare Department.

The annual income of the students' parents must not exceed Rs.50,000. Applications can be had from either the wardens of hostels or at the District Adi Dravidar and Scheduled Tribes Welfare Department on Rajaji Salai.

The last date for submission is July 31.
