Anna University employees, students offered South Korean fellowships

Hannam University, South Korea, has offered 12 masters and doctoral fellowships for the students and staff of Anna University of Technology, Chennai. The fellowship covers tuition, travel and airfare.

The selection will be based on research proposals from students and staff of AUT, Chennai, including affiliated colleges.

An expert committee consisting of senior professors will select the candidates based on the proposals submitted and recommend suitable candidates.

The fields of specialisation from which students will be selected are nano materials, computer security and networks, mechanical engineering, physics and chemistry.

The award of fellowship is the result of AUT, Chennai, signing MoU with two Korean universities, the Hannam University and Soongsil University, for exchange of students with financial support on both sides for students and staff.

The qualifications, eligibility conditions and terms of fellowships are available at www.annatech.ac.in. The program begins in March 20, 2011.
