A website for curious young minds

Sahhas Sudhakar has designed a website

Until three months ago, Sahhas Sudhakar of Anna Nagar had no interest in playing computer games or browsing websites. When his grandfather showed him an article about a 14-year-old girl creating a website for herself, 8-year-old Sahhas, a student of Class 4 at Chennai Public School, Anna Nagar, began to think of creating a website for children his age.

“One October night, I went to the Internet and searched for easy ways of designing a website, and four hours later, curiothoughts.com was born,” says Sahhas.

Curiothoughts.com is a website for children to showcase their skills and achievements.

The website is simple in design and function, says Sahhas.

Interested children can email him their best stories, poems or drawings. It is around four weeks since the website was launched and it has generated about 250 views.

Complementing the website, there is a mobile app by the same name that one can download. The app was also designed by Sahhas.

“The main difference between the website and the app is that the app has pocket tools, which include digital colouring books and money converters,” says Sahhas.

In the near future, Sahhas aims to create a mobile game app, combining the best of his existing favourite mobile games.
