Police arrested three persons for allegedly assaulting a 28-year-old man, who died later. Police said the deceased, identified as Vignesh, picked up quarrel with Amanulla, 48, a mechanic, who was drinking alcohol with his friends. They assaulted him. Neighbours found Vignesh unconscious and rushed him to a hospital where he was declared dead.
