A 24-year-old woman died after being slapped when she intervened in a fight between two of her relatives, in Soladevanahalli police station limits on Saturday.
The dispute was between Balaji and his uncle Ravi. Police said that when Balaji was about to hit Ravi, the latter’s sister Jyothi stepped in between. She took the blow on her face. "She collapsed on the spot and did not gain consciousness," said an official.
She was taken to a hospital, but doctors declared her brought dead.
