The Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board authorities are taking up maintenance work on Saturday to clear blockage of raw water supply line in first valve near Netkal reservoir of Cauvery 3rd Stage. In view of this, water supply is likely to be affected in the Central part of Bengaluru and some parts of North East and East division on Saturday.
According to a release, the following areas are likely to be affected: Cubbonpet, Chickpet, Cottonpet, Gandhinagar, Shivajinagar, Maruthi Seva Nagar, Kammanahalli, Fraser Town, Pillanna Garden, Devarajevanahalli, Benson Town, Sudhama Nagara, Sampangiramangara, R.T. Nagar, Srirampuram, Malleswaram, Bashyam Park, Okalipuram and surrounding areas.
The work will commence at 12 p.m. and is expected to go on for four hours.
