A bunch of students distributing earthen water bowls to passers-by on Friday caught the eye of many passers-by. They were intrigued: why a water bowl?
The bowls were being distributed to the public with an appeal to fill them with water and help birds sustain the tough summer.
Students from Liasaa School of Design and Creo Valley School of Film and Television launched the water bowl project on Friday. They requested people to fill up the bowls and place them in their compounds or terraces.
Radhika Kumar was initially intrigued but was later happy with the initiative of the students. She promised to keep a water bowl regularly in her compound.
