A day after he obtained bail, Geethavishnu, grandson of liquor baron late D.K. Audikeshavulu, was questioned by the Central Crime Branch (CCB) for more than four hours on Thursday.

The 27-year-old was involved in an accident on September 28 in which six people, including three children, were injured, at South End Circle. The police allegedly found 110 grams of marijuana in his car. He was admitted to Mallya hospital for treatment of his injuries, but escaped from there.

According to police sources, Geethavishnu said that the marijuana did not belong to him. “We will continue to question him on Friday,” said a senior police officer.

On Sunday, police had arrested Vishnu's brother-in-law Rajesh Naidu (35) for allegedly harbouring him while he was on the run.
