The second edition of India-Central Europe Business Forum (ICEBF) will begin in the city on Monday. The forum is a continued endeavour for accelerating economic ties between India and Central European countries for mutual gains.
Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, in partnership with the Union Ministry of External Affairs, is organising the event at The Lalit Ashok, according to a press release.
The first edition of ICEBF was held in New Delhi last year. Gen. V.K Singh, Minister of State for External Affairs, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, and senior Ministers of Poland, Hungary, Romania, and Estonia, will attend the conference.
It is expected to host over 120 business delegates from 18 Central European countries along with 250 Indian delegates.
Some key focus areas are agriculture and food processing, auto components, renewable energy, environmental technologies, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, tourism and urban infrastructure, the release said.
