Tribute to Gauri: Nidumamidi seer to inaugurate seminar

Various progressive outfits here are jointly organising a seminar on Saturday to pay tribute to the slain journalist-activist Gauri Lankesh.

Nidumamidi swami of Manava Dharma Peetha will inaugurate the seminar that will be held at the T. Chennaiah Rangamandira at 10.30 a.m. All India Democratic Women’s Association state leader K. Neela, activist H.V. Vasu, journalist B.M. Bashir, writer Lakshmipathy Kolar will present papers on various subjects at the seminar.

Jnanaprakash swami of Urilingapeddi Mutt, Mysuru, and Manava Bandhutva Vedike convener Wilfred D’Souza will participate.
