Traffic cop killed in accident

A constable attached to Chamarajpet traffic police station was killed in an accident on Monday.

The deceased, Chunchaiah (32), a resident of Byatarayanapura, came under the wheels of a concrete mixer lorry at Sathanur Circle.

He was on his way home after attending another constable’s wedding in Sathanur. Police have registered a case.

Robbers pose as cops

Two men were robbed by three unidentified men who posed as cops, in Sampigehalli on Sunday night. Susheel Kumar was returning home with his friends in his car when three men obstructed their path. They snatched Rs. 5,000 from them and fled.

Sampigehalli police have registered a case.
