Three-day conference

Opposition to proposed privatisation of Akshara Dasoha, cut in grants for education, and minimum wages under Akshara Dasoha will be discussed at a three-day Akshara Dasoha Workers’ All-India Founders’ Day Conference to be held in the city. The conference is being organised by the Akshara Dasoha Noukarara Sangha, affiliated to the CITU, Karnataka, from June 21.

There will be a rally from the city railway station to Freedom Park, where a meeting will be held. A delegates’ session, on the inaugural day, and a seminar on ‘Budget – social sector and scheme workers’ on June 23 will be held at Godwad Bhavan.
