This weekend you can expect to look forward to shopping for more exotic items than just clothes and groceries. Travel and Tourism Fair (TTF), a three-day annual event, opened on Friday. The fair is being held at Dr Prabhakar Kore Convention Centre, opposite Peenya station of Namma Metro in Yeswanthpura.

There are over 180 participants, which include representations from 11 countries and 19 Indian States. While Friday and a part of Saturday was reserved for trade visitors, the event will be open to all from Saturday afternoon to facilitate weekend travel shopping.

This time, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh are the partner States of TTF Bengaluru while Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Goa, Gujarat, Kerala, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Meghalaya, Puducherry and Rajasthan are the ‘feature States’. The international participation at TTF Bengaluru is led by Nepal, the partner country.
