‘There is no immediate threat to building’

June 18, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:32 am IST - Bengaluru:

Though an initial structural analysis had revealed that there was no immediate threat to the building, the technical panel of BBMP is expected to submit its report only by the weekend. M O Sherief, Assistant Executive Engineer, Vasanth Nagar sub-division, said the committee inspected the building on Tuesday.

“They want to wait and watch if more cracks appear on other parts of the building and see how the building sustains a spell of rain before submitting their report. A preliminary investigation revealed that the cracks are on the outer walls and the building had not suffered major structural damage,” he said.
