Tension prevails at BGS Global Hospital

Tension prevailed at BGS Global Hospital in Kengeri when the relatives of the hospital ambulance driver, who had passed away recently, refused to take possession of the body. The family members said they suspected foul play.

Dinesh C. (35) was an ambulance driver with B.G.S. Global Hospital and was sent to Maharashtra on official duty. His relative, C.S. Gangadhar, said that Dinesh reportedly met with an accident at Nasik following which he was brought to the hospital here for treatment on July 26. “He was kept on a ventilator, and the hospital authorities told us that Dinesh’s health condition was improving. But on July 31, they said that he had passed away,” he said.

Dinesh, the sole breadwinner of his family, was looking after his widowed mother, widowed sister, and her three daughters. Hospital sources ruled out foul play and said that it was a medico-legal case. They claimed that an FIR has been registered in Nasik.
