The civic body is all set to begin TenderSURE work on K.G. Road in Gandhinagar and Margosa Road in Malleswaram and has asked the traffic police to make the required arrangements for smooth movement of vehicles.
These two roads are part of the 13, including Market Road, Palace Road, Museum Road and Brigade Road, divided into eight packages.
“Tenders have been finalised for all the roads. Work on Church Street has been completed. Brigade Road has been excluded as it is now part of the Smart City project. Work on rest of the roads are being started now. Work on K.G. Road and Margosa Road will be completed in 12 months,” a senior official said.
A stretch of K.G. Road – from Police Circle to Mysore Bank Circle – has already been redone under TenderSURE. Now the stretch from Mysore Bank Circle to Upparpet police station (865 metres) will be taken up.
On Margosa Road, work will be carried out from Circle Maramma Temple to K.C. General Hospital (1.68 km).
