‘Take up RGUHS campus work soon’

October 15, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:44 am IST - BENGALURU:

JD(S) leader H.D. Kumaraswamy on Wednesday urged the government to resolve the confusion over the construction of the administrative block, hospital, medical college and hostels of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences at Archakarahalli in Ramanagaram district and take up the work soon in public interest.

The cost of the civil works was estimated at Rs. 310 crore when they were planned. But, owing to delay, the cost had gone up to Rs. 500 crore. The Chief Minister should intervene and ensure that the work was taken up on cost-sharing basis before further escalation of the cost, he said.
