May 10, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:33 am IST - Bengaluru:

With Social and Educational Survey ending on Sunday, as many as 1.66 lakh households in the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike areas are yet to be covered.

As per the reports compiled by the BBMP, 20.95 lakh out of the 22.61 lakh households have been enumerated. A resident of south Bengaluru said: “We work all through the week and are free only on Sundays. The enumerator has not come to our house so far, but I hope they turn up on Sunday as it is the last day of survey.”

Parts of east and west Bengaluru are lagging behind compared to the other areas and have recorded less than 90 per cent coverage. All other districts have claimed to have completed the survey.
