The First Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (ACMM) Court has issued summons to the seer of Sri Ramachandrapura Mutt, Raghaveshwara Bharati, directing him to appear before the court on Friday in connection with a rape case. After a long delay, the CID police, which was investigating the case, had filed a charge sheet in the court recently.

When the case came up for hearing on Thursday, the judge issued summons to the accused, directing him to appear before the court in person on Friday, and adjourned the hearing.
