Sudarshan encroached govt. land: BJP

January 08, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:49 am IST - BENGALURU:

In a fresh salvo against former Legislative Council Chairman V.R. Sudarshan, the Bharatiya Janata Party on Wednesday alleged that the Congress leader had encroached 10 guntas of government land at Vemagal in Kolar district and constructed a commercial complex on it.

Leader of the Opposition Jagadish Shettar alleged that such a complaint was filed by Lokesh V. to the Lokayukta in July 2014. However, the Lokayukta had not initiated a probe.

Mr. Sudashan has denied all charges at a press conference held late on Wednesday evening.
