A 25-year-old first-year student was allegedly molested by her senior at a pub in Koramangala during a party for freshers by the seniors to welcome the juniors on Friday.
The woman returned home and narrated her ordeal to her family members who filed a complaint with the college management before approaching the police for legal action.
The victim was sitting on the fifth floor of the pub when the accused allegedly molested her while others looked on, the complaint said, adding that her friends came to her rescue after hearing her scream and took her back home.
Based on the complaint, the Koramangala police have taken up a case of outraging the modesty against the accused.
