Sexual assault case: school to reopen today

November 23, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:31 am IST - BENGALURU:

The school where a four-year old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted by the physical instructor on the campus will re-open on Monday. The school, which comes under Parappana Agrahara police station limits, had declared a three-day holiday from Thursday to avoid facing parents’ wrath. After the incident was reported last week, the police had arrested three school officials for their alleged failure to conduct background check of the newly appointed part-time staff.

The Block Education Officer is expected to convene a meeting with the parents of children studying in the school.
