A senior citizen ended life by hanging at his daughter’s house in Chandra Layout on Monday night.
The deceased Bhairappa (70), a resident of Jyothinagar, was living with his daughter Shobha and son-in-law.
On Monday night, Bhairappa had dinner and had retired to bed. However, on Tuesday morning when his daughter knocked on the door, there was no response. Growing concerned, Shobha broke into the room and saw her father hanging from the ceiling. Police said that Bhairappa had attempted suicide a few years ago also.
