Sangh Parivar affiliates’ silence questioned

The apparent silence of Sangh Parivar affiliates over the shameful incident of denial of entry of a Dalit MP into Gollarahatti village in Tumakuru drew criticism from former MP R. Dhruvanarayan.

Mr. Dhruvanarayan, who earlier represented Chamarajanagar (Reserved) Lok Sabha seat, questioned the silence of RSS, Bajrang Dal and other Sangh Parivar affiliates over the humiliation meted out to BJP MP from Chitradurga A. Narayanaswamy, who was denied entry into the Gollarahatti village on Monday.

“Why are they (Hindu organisations) making no effort to remove such an evil practice? Why are they silent,” Mr. Dhruvanarayan asked. He endorsed BJP MP representing Chamarajanagar V. Srinivas Prasad’s appeal to the Pejawar Seer to take up the issue and cleanse society of such evil practices.
