October 19, 2015 12:00 am | Updated March 24, 2016 08:00 pm IST - Bengaluru:

The Select Bookshop is bringing about 5,000 books to its stall at Bangalore Book Festival, mostly rare ones from the 1800s and early 1900s that are out of print and some copies autographed by the authors.

K.K.S. Murthy, owner of the bookshop, said, “Be it Karl Frederick’s manual on the Old Testament printed at Edinburg in 1870, magazines such as Swarajya Swatantra , old newspapers such as the Illustrated London News , old railway timetable and old maps of India, before and after the Partition … they will all be there.”
