Raid on video game parlours, 71 arrested on charge of gambling

Central Crime Branch officials on Tuesday raided three video game parlours and arrested 71 persons on charge of gambling.

Based on a tip-off, the police raided Star Gold Games in Chamrajpet, Welcome Video Games in Shankarpuram, and M.P. Manjunath and Associates in K.G. Nagar and seized Rs. 90,160 in cash, which the accused used as betting amount.

Cases have been booked against the owners of the video game parlours.
