Police arrest two Nigerian nationals, seize drugs

Officials of the narcotics wing of the Central Crime Branch on Saturday nabbed two Nigerian nationals and recovered 260 grams of amphetamine and cocaine from them.

Based on a tip-off, a team of police officials raided a house in T.C. Palya in K.R. Puram and arrested Chukwemeka Chris (29) and Christian Mgbeojirikwe Uzochukwe (29) and recovered 219 grams of banned amphetamine and 50 grams of cocaine, which they were planning to sell to their customers.

The police also recovered 10 mobile phones, three laptops and ₹ 25,000 in cash along with two passports. The police are investigating further.
