Pedestrian killed in accident

A gas agency employee identified as Joseph (50), resident of Ulsoor, was killed in a hit-and-run accident on Sunday. Morning walkers, who found Joseph’s body in a pool of blood on the road, alerted the police. According to sources, Joseph was knocked down by an unknown vehicle at around 4.30 a.m. when he was crossing the road.

Joseph was a habitual drinker and lived on the footpath but not go home after work, said police sources.The body was sent to Bowring and Lady Curzon Hospital for post-mortem examination. Ulsoor police have registered a case.
