Outstanding science teachers

Prakash Ramachndra Garagatti of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru High School, Kalloli, Belagavi district, and Meenu Wadhwa of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Vigyan Vihar, Delhi, have been chosen for Outstanding Science Teachers’ Prize for 2014. Instituted by the CNR Rao Education Foundation, the ninth annual award will be given to outstanding science teachers, who have exhibited innovative science teaching methods and have inspired young aspirants to take up science as a career. The award will be presented on June 30 at a function to be held in Bengaluru. The Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research, Bengaluru, administrates this activity of the foundation, said a release.
