Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar, heir of the erstwhile Mysuru royal family, returned to his alma mater here on Friday.

At the graduation ceremony of students of Canadian International School, Mr. Wadiyar, whose coronation as ‘prince’ is scheduled for May 28, briefly recounted his “academic tryst” with the school. Mr. Wadiyar, who obtained his under-graduation degree just last week, advised the students to attempt their hand at multiple disciplines before deciding on what might interest them.

Rather obliquely, he said there would be “multiple challenges” that would make one “define their Indianness” in universities abroad.
