In view of Friday's violence within the premises of City Civil Court Complex, the Chief Justice of the Karnataka High Court has declared Saturday (March 3) non-sitting day for all the courts functioning in the complex as well as other subordinate courts in Bangalore.

The decision in this regard has been taken for maintaining a law and order, states a notification issued by the High Court.

The result of the notification is that the administration of these courts will function normally but there will not be hearing of any cases in the court on Saturday.
