A 27-year-old city-based model has accused her live-in partner of cheating on her. In a complaint filed with Sadashiva Nagar police, the victim said that her partner, Ullas Patel, who works in a private firm in Yeswanthpur, had proposed her eight months ago. They were in a live-in relationship for two months, before he left her.
When the victim approached Patel he allegedly told her that his family was against their marriage. But, he later ended the relationship accusing her of running an escort service.
The victim approached his family members, but they refused to help her, following which she filed a complaint.
The police have taken up a case of rape and cheating and efforts are on to track down Patel.
