Metal legends Megadeth in Benagaluru city today

October 28, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 07:32 am IST - Bengaluru:

The metal capital of the country will play host to one of the frontrunners of heavy metal as Bacardi brings American trash metal band Megadeth to the city. Performing as part of the Bacardi NH7 Weekender at Destination by SALT, Whitefield Road, 4th Cross, Dyavasandra Industrial Area, Mahadevpura, on Wednesday from 6 p.m., metal-heads will get to experience music straight from the metal legends themselves.

Brought to Bengaluru in association with Harley Rock Riders, the exclusive show is already sold out. But eager fans can still have a chance to waitlist their names at https://insider.in/event/thousand-for -megadeth.

Megadeth is the pioneer of the same American thrash metal scene that produced Metallica, Slayer and Anthrax, and are heavily credited as being one of the most influential names in metal. They have released several platinum-selling albums, including Rust in Peace and Countdown to Extinction, the album that the band played in its entirety when they performed in India for the first time at the Bacardi NH7 Weekender 2012. In addition to Bengaluru, the band will also play at the Shillong and Kolkata edition of the festival as well as the Harley Rock Riders festival in Mumbai.
