The Bagalagunte police have arrested a man for harassing a woman for two months. The accused, Kruparam, 32, hails from Rajasthan and works at a granite shop in the city.

In her complaint, the woman said that Kruparam worked near her house. He would often bully her by blocking her path when she was walking and attempting to talk to her. When she ignored him, he would resort to making obscene gestures and remarks.

The police said that on January 4, while she was sweeping outside her house, he stood in front of her and tried to talk to her. “When she avoided him, he exposed himself to her. Hearing her cries, her husband came out. By then, Kruparam had escaped,” said the police.

The couple immediately filed a complaint with the Bagalagunte police, who arrested him.
