Man held; 1 kg gold biscuits recovered

The Central division police have arrested a man and recovered 1 kg of gold biscuits worth Rs. 30 lakh from him.

The S.J. Nagar police caught Kiran Shyam (37), a resident of Sanjay Nagar, when they became suspicious of his movements. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central) Sandeep Patil said Kiran Shyam confessed that he had stolen the gold biscuits from a person near Kempegowda International Airport.

Found dead

Deepak Singh (25), an astrologer, who went missing four days ago, was found dead at his office in D.J. Halli on Saturday. Singh’s wife had lodged a missing complaint on Wednesday.

Police found Singh’s motorcycle parked in the basement of his office building. Police broke open the door of the office to find Singh hanging from the ceiling.
