Man arrested for selling marijuana

The Mico Layout Police have arrested a 30-year-old B.Tech graduate and recovered four kg of marijuana worth Rs. 1.5 lakh.

The accused, Raja Sahu, a native of Orissa, was living in BTM II Stage was working as Software Engineer in Bengaluru. He quit the job due to his addiction to marijuana and later started selling drugs to make money, the police said.

Based on a tip-off, a team of Police raided his rented house in BTM Layout and arrested Sahu. Raja Sahu confessed that he was procuring drugs from his contacts from the outskirts of Bengaluru and selling it to people.

Sahu has been arrested under Narcotics Act and remanded in judicial custody.
