Continuing his weekly Bengaluru Rounds, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said there was a need to form a committee that will coordinate between various civic agencies.

The need for such a committee was apparent when a part of the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP)’s ambitious TenderSURE project was undone by fresh digging of the newly-laid footpath by Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) on St. Marks Road, said the Chief Minister after his rounds on Saturday.

“There is no coordination between BBMP, BDA (Bangalore Development Authority), BWSSB and Bescom (Bangalore Electricity Supply Company). The Chief Secretary has been asked to issue an order to form a committee for coordination. Else, a newly-laid road by BBMP will be dug up again by BWSSB or Bescom,” said Mr. Siddaramaiah.
