IGP Pratap Reddy posted in place of Alok Kumar

Fourteen days after Inspector General of Police Alok Kumar was suspended after his name cropped up in the alleged lottery scam, the State government posted IGP C.H. Pratap Reddy as Additional Commissioner of Police (West).

On May 23, the State government suspended Alok Kumar based on the interim report submitted by the CID in connection with the lottery scam.
