Nearly 15 months after Geetha Vishnu, grandson of liquor baron the late K.D. Adikesavulu Naidu, was booked for allegedly ramming his vehicle into a car and injuring six people and two children, the police have filed a charge sheet. According to the police, he was under the influence of marijuana while driving.

In the charge sheet, the police said that he lost control of his luxury car and rammed into another vehicle and a BBMP signboard near South End Circle on September 28, 2017. At the time, the police recovered 110 grams of marijuana from his car.

Passers-by caught Geetha Vishnu and assaulted him before the police intervened and took him to Mallya Hospital. While being treated, he escaped from the hospital with the help of the doctor and went into hiding for a few days before he surrendered at the CCB headquarters.

The police have also booked his friends Pranam Devraj, Shashank, Mohamed Junaid, and Mohammed Faisal for possessing ganja. Chaitanya Naidu, elder sister of Geetha Vishnu, and her husband Rajesh Naidu as well as two employees, Anand and Vinod, have also been booked for allegedly harbouring an offender.
