In a scene straight out of a movie, two brothers from Adugodi avenged the suicide of their sister in 2012, by murdering the man reportedly responsible for her death.
The cold-blooded killing took place on October 20 and the assailants were arrested on Saturday. Gabbu alias Venkatesh (35) was found dead with cut injuries all over his body in Adugodi on the night of October 20. A team from the Banaswadi police station registered a case and investigations revealed that Naveen (22) and Surya (21), two brothers from the locality who worked as cab drivers, could have been involved.
The duo was detained and upon questioning, they reportedly said that they along with two friends Suresh (22) and Kumaresh (22), also from Adugodi, had hacked Venkatesh to death.
