With several experts raising concerns over the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) examination software that has been developed for online dispatch of question papers, executive council members have demanded a third-party audit

This follows allegations of paper leakage in the ongoing semester examinations. Students had alleged that the question paper reached them one hour prior to the examination.

“We demand an audit of the software,” said a member of the executive council.

Though VTU officials have said that none of the papers have been leaked, they added that they are looking into the allegations. The software is essential as all universities have been directed to seek the assistance of VTU to conduct digital evaluation and examination of these universities.
