A Kannada film producer has filed a complaint against cine star Duniya Viji for allegedly threatening him with dire consequence if the producer did not withdraw his movie that is screening at Kapali theatre.
Film Producer, Jayanna, said that his Kannada movie ‘Shivam’, was screening in Kapali theatre. Actor Duniya Viji wanted to screen his latest movie ‘Jackson’ in the same theatre and asked Jayanna to take out ‘Shivam’ and later threatened him with dire consequences if he did not oblige.
Based on the complaint, the Central Crime Branch (CCB) officials summoned Duniya Viji and recorded his statement on Monday.
