Commuters who depend on the Purple Line between Baiyappanahalli and M.G. Road will have to brace themselves for disruption in services on August 3 and 4.
Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. cited regular maintenance work as the reason. “On August 3, the last train from Baiyappanahalli to Mysuru Road will leave Baiyappanahalli station at 9.30 p.m. and the last train from Mysuru Road to Baiyappanahalli will leave Mysuru Road station at 9 p.m. However, the train services will continue between M.G. Road and Mysuru Road stations till the end of the closing hours of August 3 and 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. on August 4,” said the release.
Regular service between Baiyappanahalli and M.G. Road stations will resume from 11 a.m. on August 4. On the Green Line from Nagasandra to Yelachenahalli, the services will be operational as per schedule.
